On Nov. 15, 2024, a federal judge in the Eastern District of Texas invalidated the Biden administration鈥檚 Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime final rule. This decision eliminates the scheduled salary threshold increase previously set to take effect on Jan. 1, 2025, as well as the automatic updates planned to occur every three years.

The 2024 天堂鸟先生 Winter Break Closure will be extended to include Monday, Dec. 23, and Tuesday, Dec. 24. 天堂鸟先生 closes annually from Dec. 25 through Jan. 1 to recognize and reward the contributions of all employees on all campuses.
