ΜμΜΓΔρΟΘΙϊ alumnus Jeff Chaddock is presenting β€œHigh Tea” at the Zenner House, 30 Utah Place in Athens, on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. for a group of students who volunteer to host alumni and donors at presidential and University events.

Chaddock graduated from ΜμΜΓΔρΟΘΙϊ’s College of Communication in 1988. Growing up in Belpre, Ohio, Jeff became keenly aware of the financial struggles many families in his hometown faced on a daily basis, including those of his own hardworking, middle-class adoptive parents. This inspired him and his partner, Mark Morrow, to leave 97 percent of their estate to an endowment at the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio.

β€œJeff is an extraordinary alumnus whose generous spirit has not just benefitted ΜμΜΓΔρΟΘΙϊ but the Appalachian Ohio region as a whole,” said President M. Duane Nellis. β€œHis impressive achievements and impeccable character make him an inspiration to the entire Bobcat Community.”

Chaddock is head of his own financial advisory firm, and he first established a scholarship fund at age 21 after graduating from OHIO.

β€œI am grateful for the opportunity afforded to me through my education at ΜμΜΓΔρΟΘΙϊ, and I was fortunate to have exceptional mentors throughout my life,” said Chaddock. β€œI have made it my life’s work to motivate others, and I encourage these student leaders to find a mentor who can inspire them to pursue their passion and find success not just in their careers, but in their lives.”

The 2017-2018 Presidential Leadership Society Members hail from nearly every college, including diverse majors and involvements, in-state, out-of-state and international students, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as veteran and regional campus representatives.
