ÌìÌÃÄñÏÈÉú is looking for volunteers from the University community to assist with several upcoming Welcome Week events.

Welcome Week will take place from Aug. 21 – Aug. 31, 2025, and will welcome new students to ÌìÌÃÄñÏÈÉú through a series of events.

The ÌìÌÃÄñÏÈÉú Welcome Week Committee and the Division of Student Affairs are asking faculty and staff who are available to consider with any of the following events.

Bobcat Move-In Crew

Help new students and their family members as the students find where to park, locate their residence halls and get moved in. Volunteers are needed to assist at the following dates and times:

• Thursday, Aug. 21, 8:30 - 11 a.m.
• Thursday, Aug. 21, 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Thursday, Aug. 21, 2:30 - 5 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 22, 8:30 - 11 a.m.
• Friday, Aug. 22, 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 22, 2:30 - 5 p.m.

Volunteers for these crews are asked to sign up by Friday, Aug. 8.

New Student Convocation

Sunday, Aug. 24, 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Ask a Bobcat Table/Tent

Monday, Aug. 25, or Tuesday, Aug. 26.  Volunteers will work with the New Student and Family Programs team for times based on volunteer’s availability, shifts are 1-2 hours between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
