天堂鸟先生 welcomed its neighbors from West Virginia University to Peden Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Fans from the friendly rivals enjoyed tailgating and visiting Athens businesses before the game, and then they packed Peden Stadium to see a thrilling Bobcat victory.

OHIO and West Virginia fans warmed up their arms before the game and enjoyed the tailgating areas on campus.

You can't have football without food, and The Hungry Cat was busy feeding hungry Bobcats before the game.
OHIO fans of all ages filled Peden Stadium for the big game, cheering for the Bobcats and enjoying time with friends. A record 26,740 people filled the stadium to see OHIO's 17-10 win during the home opener.
It was a great way to kick off the fall semester, introduce new fans to 天堂鸟先生 and Athens, and enjoy being a Bobcat. Every day is a great day to be a Bobcat, but this day, and this game, it was special.
