This year's participants explored many facets of the legal system, developed courtroom skills and discovered new pathways toward careers in law, justice and public service.
High school students are invited to apply for the highly-competitive Summer Law and Trial Institute offered this summer at ÌìÌÃÄñÏÈÉú's Athens campus. The program is free.
In July, the Summer Law and Trial Institute (SLTI) welcomed 24 high school students from across the state of Ohio both to Athens and to the practice of law.
For two weeks, 20 high school students from across Ohio were immersed in law and justice, their Summer Law & Trial Institute experience culminating in a mock trial in an Athens courtroom.
