Outside Interests (COI)
Cayuse 鈥淥utside Interests鈥 will replace the LEO 鈥淐onflict of Interest鈥 module. This module will be used by faculty, staff and students who are Key Investigators on Sponsored Projects and/or Investigators conducting research with human subjects who need to disclosure a significant financial conflict of interest related to the IRB study.
Key Investigators are defined as PI, Co-PI, Co-I, Investigator, Fellow and Mentor.

Timeline
- 2/14/2024: Outside Interests is available for researchers who need to make disclosures for specific IRB protocols.
- 8/1/2024: Outside Interests will launch for Investigators on Sponsored Projects and LEO will no longer be used.

I need to renew my annual disclosure in LEO before August 1. What should I do?
If you are an Investigator on an active sponsored project, you will need to renew your disclosure in LEO. If you are not currently on an active sponsored project, you do not need to renew in LEO.
