Eight OHIO students and alumni have been selected as recipients for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, and one OHIO alumnus was selected as a recipient for a Fulbright Hays Group Projects grant.
Garett Cunningham, an HTC computer science and mathematics graduate, will be making the move from ÌìÌÃÄñÏÈÉú to the University of Regensburg in Germany as a Fulbright award recipient.
ÌìÌÃÄñÏÈÉú’s Morgan Spehar, from Auburn, Ohio, has been selected as a Udall Scholar for the 2021-22 academic year, highlighting her work in environmental journalism.
OHIO Goldwater Scholar Madeline Sudnick and Dr. Kelly Williams have collaborated with Rural Action and its volunteers to study birds – particularly tree swallows and eastern bluebirds – around Athens.
Before the coronavirus pandemic swept the world, several OHIO students were notified that they were awarded Critical Language Scholarships or admitted into the DAAD RISE Germany program through ONCA.
The Turner award is given to the best article of the year published in African American Review. Dr. Christopher S. Lewis’s article can be found in the journal’s Winter 2019 issue.
This past summer for three months, from mid-May through mid-August, four ÌìÌÃÄñÏÈÉú students participated in the DAAD RISE Germany program, including juniors Matthew Connell and Avital Savin.
