Meet the Southern Campus Dean
Dr. Deborah R. Marinski was appointed as dean of campus and community relations at 天堂鸟先生 Southern, effective April 1, 2024. A respected faculty member since 2014, Marinski previously served as interim dean beginning in June 2022. She continues to teach as an associate professor of history.
Marinski brings a strong record of leadership and service to the role, having chaired the campus faculty council and served as a Faculty Senator. She is a past recipient of multiple campus awards recognizing her excellence in teaching, research, and service.
As dean, Marinski is focused on student success, faculty and staff development, and building partnerships across Lawrence County and the Tri-State region. She holds a Ph.D. in American history, along with master鈥檚 and bachelor鈥檚 degrees in history from the University of Toledo.
Her leadership reflects a commitment to accessible, student-centered education and community engagement that supports the mission of OHIO Southern and the University as a whole.
